Imagine an early morning: Mist lies over gentle mountain slopes, the first light carefully feels its way through the tea bushes, while spring water flows from inside the volcanic rock. Right there, in the middle altitudes of the "misty island" of Kirishima, one of Japan's finest organic Sencha grows. Naturally, lovingly harvested by hand - and permeated with this decelerated power.

The Kirishima No. 1 comes from the first plucking and is one of the absolute top teas in Kyushu. Full-bodied and smooth at the same time, it produces a deep green, crystal-clear infusion - with a multi-layered taste reminiscent of fresh green leaves, mild nuts and a hint of sea breeze. A tea that doesn't have to be loud to be deeply touching.

The family business behind this rarity has been cultivating tea for three generations - with dedication, decades of experience and a deep desire to bring natural cultivation into harmony with the rhythms of nature. Out of respect for their philosophy of integrity, we have refrained from mentioning their name. Anyone who holds Kirishima No. 1 in their cup understands what true origin means, even without a label.
