The Morimoto family's organic tea garden is located on the southernmost of the four main islands of Japan, around the town of Miyazaki, in the Prefecture of the same name. The story of the Morimoto green tea began when the young couple founded a tiny plant about forty years ago with a single small tea garden parcel. While the two Morimotos developed into a perfect team over the years, the size of the plant grew at the same time with their experience in tea cultivation. Meanwhile, the two have a total of twelve tea fields, and have their own production plant, which they operate almost exclusively in pairs. During the harvesting phase, friends or even the two daughters sometimes help with the processing.
