Kogacha
The exclusive selection of fine teas from the house of Kogacha.
KOGACHA (KOGA TEA) is a leading green tea refiner, considered one of the most successful and traditional companies in Kyushu's tea industry.
KOGACHA was established in 1938 in the town of Setaka-Machi, Yamato-Gun County, Fukuoka Prefecture on Kyushu's third largest southwestern island. The town of Setaka-Machi is located directly in Japan's famous tea-growing area of YAME, which is known for its high-quality teas with special rarity value.
In November 2008, KOGA-SHIRACHA-TEE (private brand, in German "Weißer-Tee") won the "Grand Gold Award of the World Green Tea Contest". KOGACHA continued to develop novel products such as YAME-SPARKLING BLACK TEA and bottled YAME-SENCHA TEA. Both teas are served on Japan's prominent luxury train The Seven Stars in Kyushu.
KOGACHA also offers other interesting high quality teas from neighboring prefectures, such as KUMAMOTO-GENMAICHA TEA, HOJICHA TEA BIO or the KIRISHIMA-MATCHA TEA BIO.
Below we present an exclusive selection of fine teas from the house of KOGACHA.
