This special green tea is not made from the leaves themselves, but from the fine stems and leaf veins. Its light, almost golden yellow cup color is deceptive: the taste of Kukicha is wonderfully balanced - fresh, mild and with a natural sweetness that delights even the most sensitive palates. "Karigane" stands for a special variant of Kukicha, in which only high-quality stems from the harvest of premium teas are used. This is reflected in the fine aroma and balanced structure.

For your preparation

• Quantity: 1-2 teaspoons per 200 ml of water
• Temperature: 65 - 70 °C (not boiling - your water may still show breath)
• Drawing time: 60 seconds for the first infusion, only 15 seconds for up to four further infusions
