Then discover this: our organic blend of roasted wholegrain rice, fine first-pick Sencha and a hint of Kirishima Drinking-Grade Matcha - a tea like an early morning walk in the forest: clear, warm and infused with the scent of nature.
In Japan, this special blend is called Genmaicha. Translated: rice tea. But this one goes one step further. The added premium matcha from volcanic altitudes gives the traditional drink a new depth - velvety on the finish, with a surprising fullness and balance between sweet and tart. The base is a sencha from Okuyame, a wild, evergreen mountain region at an altitude of 600 meters on Kyushu. Harvested in the first spring sunshine, it unfolds its full aroma gently processed in this unique blend.
A tea for slow moments and quiet thoughts
The caffeine content is pleasantly reduced thanks to the proportion of roasted brown rice - ideal for conscious connoisseurs who don't want to miss out on their cup of tea in the evening. At the same time, the natural complex of teein, L-theanine and fine roasted aromas offers a multi-layered taste experience: the aroma is reminiscent of warm, nutty rice, the taste oscillates between tart green matcha and the racy clarity of Japanese green tea - rounded off by a slightly caramel finish.
Before infusion, the blend reveals itself in a vibrant, light green tone - interspersed with golden rice grains. After infusion, the cup glows a soft may green. The fragrance and taste fully unfold when you pour the tea with water at around 90 °C - a little patience, a little silence, three minutes of infusion time. Your moment of grounding is complete.
