Here, where fog lies heavy over ancient tea gardens and organic tea leaves thrive in the morning calm, craftsmanship, nature and tradition come together to create a special tea: Kirishima Matcha-iri Genmaicha.

This unique composition comes from tea master Shutaro Hayashi, a pioneer of organic tea cultivation. It combines his gently roasted Kirishima Mukashi Genmaicha - a fine-leafed sencha with crispy brown rice - with a hint of Kirishima Midori Matcha in drinking-grade quality. This harmonious liaison of umami, roasted aromas and delicate freshness creates a green-golden taste experience that is as complex as it is accessible.

Particularly exciting for nutrition-conscious connoisseurs: the matcha it contains provides natural antioxidants and a mild, long-lasting alertness - without the ups and downs of coffee. The warm, calming character of Genmaicha also makes it the ideal accompaniment to meals or as a mindful tea break in between meals.

Recommended preparation:

• 1-2 tsp to 200 ml water
• Water temperature: 60-70 °C
• Infusion time: 60 seconds for the first infusion, 10-15 seconds for subsequent infusions (can be infused up to 4 times)
