A matcha with origin & attitude
The special thing starts with the cultivation. Our tea farmers in Kagoshima do not use any chemical sprays at all - even those that would be officially permitted in organic farming. Instead, they rely on manual care, natural shade, home-made compost and patience: the tea plants are allowed to mature for five years before they are harvested for the first time. This allows them to develop strong roots, deep aromas and natural resilience. Sustainability as you can taste it.
