This deep-steamed sencha comes from Matsumo, Shizuoka - a region prized for its long tea tradition and climate. Its name is no exaggeration: This tea accompanies you like a good friend through quiet mornings or meditative afternoons. Mild, balanced, honest - without any caffeine kick, but with plenty of clarity of taste and spirit.

The cultivar "Oku Midori" (translated roughly as "deep green") is the result of conscious cooperation between regional tea farmers. Under the Clean Tea Matsumo association, they focus on pesticide-free cultivation, traditional production methods and a close connection to nature.

Thanks to the deep steaming (fukamushi), Sencha Best Friend has a particularly bright green cup, almost like damp moss in the sunlight. At the same time, the processing makes it more temperature-tolerant - perfect for anyone who likes things uncomplicated.

In terms of taste, you can expect a smooth, fresh aroma with vegetal depth and a pleasant sweetness. No scratchiness, no bitter notes - simply a soft finish that lets you breathe.
