Its finely balanced taste: round, umami-rich, gently tart. Its color: intense green, not too bright, not too dull. Perfect for all those who love matcha latte - whether with cow's milk or plant-based alternatives such as oats, almonds or soy.
For this edition, we only use hand-picked leaves from the first harvest from Kagoshima, one of Japan's most renowned tea regions. The grinding is done traditionally on granite stone mills, which guarantees a velvety-fine texture - and therefore optimum solubility.

Origin you can trust
The leaves come from a certified organic farm in Kirishima (Kagoshima), at an altitude of around 500 meters. Here, the special microclimate - often shrouded in mist and with strong temperature differences between day and night - ensures exceptionally aromatic leaf development. Shading is natural and careful: this increases the theanine content, which is responsible for the mild sweetness and pleasant umami.
No pesticides. No synthetic fertilizers. No compromise. Instead, the tea farmer ferments his own organic compost - for a whole four years. This dedication not only ensures healthy plants with deep roots, but also a soil full of active microorganisms. The result: a matcha that not only tastes good, but also tells stories.
How to unleash its full potentialFor the perfect matcha latte, we recommend the following preparation:
- Place 1-2 lightly heaped bamboo spoons (approx. 1-2 g) in a bowl

- Whisk up a smooth, lump-free paste with a small sip of hot water (max. 80 °C).
- Add warm, creamy frothed milk (optimum: 65-70 °C).
- Stir, take a deep breath and enjoy.
Instructions for storage
The following applies to larger containers (500 g / 1 kg): less is more. Only take out the amount you need for around 1-2 weeks and store the rest of the bulk pack airtight in the freezer. This will keep your matcha fresh, color-stable and aromatic for a long time.
