A tamaryokucha with an oolong-like character, born on living earth, purified in the forest and perfected with devotion. Every sip is an echo of stillness, subtlety and originality.

A tea that breathes - and brings you peace

Its origins are not straightened plantations, but an old, untouched tea mountain near Nara. Here, the tea plants are grown from seed - deep-rooted, slow-growing and nourished by the natural rhythm of the seasons. This closeness to nature is reflected in the taste: clear, soft, subtle like a breeze in the forest.

After harvesting, the whole tea leaves are carefully spread out to wither - not mechanically, but outside in a wooded area just a few minutes away from the garden. They are allowed to linger there for up to 20 hours, supported by the interplay of shade, humidity and temperature. Always with the aim of maintaining a balance between freshness and ripeness.

As soon as the first shades of red or brown appear, the fermentation process ends. The leaves are steamed directly in the nearby processing facility and gently dried - without roasting, without refinement, simply original. The result is a mild green infusion with a delicate spring scent, almost floating lightly on the palate, but with a long, complex finish.

Naturally organic - and deeply rooted in the soil

The Tamaryokucha variant in Suikyo Woodwind may have Oolong in its name, but its taste remains noticeably on the green side: floral, nutty, mildly astringent - without bitterness.
