Keiko Premium was originally developed for thin preparation (Usucha), but can also be enjoyed as a strong Koicha with the right dosage. It is particularly harmonious when brewed with soft water at around 70-75 °C - this is the best way to develop its complex flavor.

What many people don't know is that as soon as matcha comes into contact with air, it begins to oxidize - meaning that the fine tea flavour quickly loses its depth. Instead of relying on long transportation routes, this matcha is freshly ground directly in Germany, more precisely at KEIKO's company headquarters in Diepholz. A clear advantage if you value maximum freshness and aroma.

I can also confirm the nutty aroma.
The sourness and umami are not overpowering.
I prefer this one over the Keiko Tekiro because it has less bitterness and still some freshness. bitterness.
