Organic Premium Matcha Kirishima - authentic enjoyment from the depths of Japan
Are you looking for a matcha that is more than just finely ground tea? One that carries the power of nature - clear, expressive and at the same time soothingly gentle for body and mind? The organic premium Matcha Kirishima opens up precisely this space: meditative, balanced, intense in taste and yet subtle in its aftertaste.
This high-quality drinking-grade matcha comes from the mist-shrouded hills of Kirishima on the island of Kyushu - one of Japan's most pristine tea regions, protected by volcanic soils and ancient cultivation methods. Cultivated by the traditional Nishi family, who have been working organically for generations, a powder is created here that combines originality and expertise. The special feature: The delicate tencha leaves are carefully shaded, gently steamed and ground into a silky green elixir in stone mills. The result is a rich, almost creamy umami aroma with subtle nutty notes that lingers on the tongue and deeply nourishes both body and soul.
Especially suitable for Usucha & Koicha
Whether you prepare your matcha classically as usucha (thin tea) or venture into koicha (thicker, more intense matcha) - this premium tea carries both with dignity. Its harmonious profile remains soft and round even when brewed thicker, without being bitter. A true mark of quality.
For the mindful who seek depth
If you value holistic quality, artisanal care and a tea that grounds you with every sip - then the Organic Premium Matcha Kirishima could be your new companion. Perhaps not for every day, but certainly for those moments when you want to give yourself more than just a hot drink.

- Bram v., 08/29/2020In my opinion this matcha has a too strong umami taste, but is still enjoyable because of a slightly fruity and sweet smell and taste.
There's a very little hint of grass in the smell, but it has some astringency in the taste reminding me of raw vegetables.
It's not really fresh-green bitterness, but more of a longer steamed, rich taste. />There's a very little hint of grass in the smell, but it has some astringency in the taste reminding me of raw vegetables.
