Green Tea Chews

A particularly stimulating chewy sweet with the natural ingredients of matcha green tea.

The sweets, which are made in Japan, have two special features:

1. Firstly, they are wrapped in a delicate starch paper on the inside. This paper serves as protection against sticking to the outer candy paper and is eaten along with it! It dissolves in the mouth after a few seconds.
2. Secondly, these sweets are much harder than what we know in Europe as chewy sweets. The Japanese recipes for chewy sweets contain less moisture, so the sweets do not become moist and sticky when warm. On the other hand, the sweets are a little harder.

The chews we offer here are freshly produced in Japan and are the way they are eaten in Japan.
