Organic Matcha Imperial
We obtain this truly imperial Matcha from the Kirishima region of Kagoshima Prefecture, one of the centres of Japanese tea cultivation on the southernmost Japanese island of Kyushu.
It is an exquisite blend of the shrub varieties Saemidori, Yabukita and Okumidori. This blend was composed by the tea master in a finely nuanced and balanced way, so that we can offer a Matcha without any astringency, but with an unusually complex and multi-layered taste oeuvre. It is almost unbelievable that this is an organically grown Matcha.
Pack á 50 gram

1-2 teaspoons / 100ml

60°-70° C / 140°-158° F

It doesn't taste fresh, grassy or like leafy vegetables at all.
It's very strong and it definitely contains very high amount of caffeine, this one is not for me. coffee. I believe it contains the highest percentage of the okumidori cultivar.
