Bio Matcha Barista Edition - café quality for at home
You like to experiment in the kitchen, love a variety of flavors and are looking for matcha that combines perfectly with milk or plant-based alternatives Then our Organic Matcha Barista Edition is exactly your cup of tea - or better: your next matcha latte, creamy and frothy, with a pleasant balance of tart and velvety-sweet.
This high-quality matcha comes from the first harvest directly from the southern prefecture of Kagoshima - a region known for its volcanic soils, humid mists and exceptional tea quality. The fine tea leaves are cultivated there under shady nets, carefully harvested by hand and traditionally ground on granite stone mills. The result is a bright green matcha with a full body and amazing depth.
Perfect for creative recipes: Whether a classic matcha latte, iced matcha with oat drink or a shot in cake batter - the Barista Edition brings intensity and color without being overpowering. The finely balanced notes of umami, delicate bitterness and natural sweetness harmonize perfectly with frothed milk or plant-based alternatives.
Why this edition is a favorite matcha of many baristas (and amateur baristas):
- Highly aromatic matcha - strong enough for milk-based drinks
- 100% organic & sustainably grown - without pesticides, with home-made compost and deep-rooted plants
- Traditionally processed - granite stone grinding for optimum fineness and depth of flavor
- Harvested at high altitude in Kirishima City - dense fog creates more theanine for a gentle sweetness
Our tip for long-lasting freshness
If you opt for the bulk packs (500g / 1kg), we recommend Only transfer the amount you will use in the next 1-2 weeks and store the rest in an airtight container in the freezer. This will keep your matcha aromatic, colorful and fresh for a particularly long time. Always store in a cool place after opening.
