Ureshino-cha
The area of Ureshino in Saga-Ken (prefecture on Kyushu) has been famous for years for its Tamaryokucha, also known as "Guricha". Even today, this tea is made according to a special traditional method.
After steam treatment, the leaves are roasted in an oven (kama) and formed into small "curls" called tamagata. This tea is known for its strong aroma. The preparation is the same as for a high quality Sencha.
