Bio Miumori Kirishima Matcha - 30g jewelry box
Are you looking for a matcha that not only impresses with its intense color, but above all with its character, depth and elegant fruitiness? Then this tea could be your new favorite. The Bio Miumori Kirishima Matcha comes from a small, family-run tea garden in the misty mountains of Kirishima in southern Japan - and is a remarkable masterpiece in every respect.
As soon as you open the packet in the elegant decorative tin, a green fragrance wafts into your nose, reminiscent of young vegetables, fresh sugar snap peas and a sweet sea breeze. A multi-layered taste unfolds on the palate: creamy, fruity, without any bitterness - but with a fine umami foundation that lingers on the tongue. The typical smoothness of the Oku Midori shrub variety, combined with the optimal growing conditions at an airy, often foggy altitude, make this matcha a rare experience.
Origin meets craftsmanship
The Miumori Matcha is produced by the fifth generation of the Hayashi family - with dedication, patience and an enormous knowledge of the intricacies of organic cultivation. The tea garden is nestled in hilly woodland in Kagoshima Prefecture on the island of Kyūshū. There, the plants develop strong, healthy leaves with a unique aroma thanks to the nutrient-rich volcanic soil and natural shading caused by the frequent occurrence of fog.
Before harvesting, the tea bushes are shaded for several weeks. This traditional practice promotes both the bright green color of the matcha and the high content of chlorophyll and L-theanine - the substance to which matcha owes its creamy depth and relaxing effect. What makes Miumori Matcha so special
