If you are interested in deeper layers of tea - both in terms of taste and content - this Fukamushi Sencha is made for you. The name "Fukamushi" (深蒸し) stands for "deep steaming" in Japanese. And this is exactly where the magic lies: prolonged steaming allows the hot steam to penetrate deeper into the cell structure of the leaves. The result? An unusually mild extract with a clear, bright green cup and rich texture.

Only young, tender leaves from the first harvest are used for this special sencha - from the high-quality bush variety Oku Yutaka, known for its balanced umami sweetness and rich aroma. Steaming interrupts oxidation, protects essential ingredients such as catechins and amino acids - and at the same time opens up new approaches to taste. The infusion produces a dense, almost creamy depth, accompanied by an elegant variation of green notes that changes excitingly over several infusions.

Fukamushi Senchas are considered by connoisseurs to be particularly rich in active ingredients - thanks to their fine leaf powder, which is partially dispersed in the water during infusion. As a result, more of the rich green content is drunk directly. And this is exactly what makes this tea not only interesting in taste, but also remarkably functional.
